Collars


I've been trying to find a crochet collar pattern for forever, so when I found this  pattern from lululoves I literally squealed out loud. It's safe to say I was pretty excited:) Just thought I would share in case anyone else is trying to find a collar pattern too:)

Free beginner crochet beanie/hat pattern


What you will need:
  • Yarn ( Lion brand Homespun in the color 425 Spice)
  • 7 mm crochet hook
  • Yarn needle to sew in ends 
  • Scissors 
Pattern 

Chain 4
Join with the first stitch making a circle.

Row 1: Chain 2. Work 11 dc's into the circle. Join with a slip stitch at the top of the chain 2. (12 dc's)

Row 2: Chain 2. Work a dc stitch into the same chain 2 stitch. * Work 2 dc stitches in each stitch around * Join with a slip stitch at the top of the chain 2. (24 dc's)

Row 3: Chain 2. Work 2 dc's in the next stitch. * 1 dc in the next stitch. 2 dc in the next dc stitch around * Join with a slip stitch at the top of the chain 2.

Row 4: Chain 2. Work 1 dc in the next dc stitch. Work 2 dc's in the next stitch. * Work 1 dc stitch in the next stitch. Work 1 dc stitch into the next stitch. Work 2 dc's into the next stitch. around * Join with a slip stitch at the top of the chain 2.

Row 5: Chain 2. * 1 dc into each stitch around* Join with a slip stitch at the top of the chain 2.

Row 6-16: Chain 2. Work a dc into the same stitch as the chain 2. * 1 dc into each stitch around * Join at the top of the 2nd dc in the row (not at the top of the chain 2. This way the seam on your beanie will be less noticeable.) with a slip stitch.

Finish off and sew in tail.
